New listings, first

You hear about it the moment the agent puts it online.

Huisalert watches Dutch estate agents' own websites continuously and sends a push notification the moment a home appears that matches your search. Not in an evening digest — when the page goes live.

The feed in the app: a € 425,000 home on Nieuwe Kerkstraat in Amsterdam, flagged as new, found 58 minutes ago.

What it does

What you can do with it

  • Save a search

City, neighbourhood or 4-digit postcode, buy or rent, price, minimum floor area and rooms, property type, new-build or existing.

  • A radius, not a map

Type a place or a street and pick a radius from 1 to 100 km. The app asks for no location permission: your search area is what you type.

  • An alert as soon as we can

With the city and the asking price, and one tap through to the listing at the agent. Unlimited, and silent during the hours you choose.

  • Reply in two taps

Your details are already in the message. It opens as a draft in your own mail app — in Dutch or English — and you send it.

  • Favourites and notes

Save homes and keep your own notes on them. Visible only to you, and they stay put when you are offline.

  • Similar homes

Look at homes in the same city at a comparable price and floor area, so you can tell whether an asking price is reasonable.

The reply screen in the app: a pre-written message to the agent, with a note at the top that the home appeared 19 minutes ago.

Why the alert arrives sooner

No step in between

Huisalert collects listings straight from agents' publicly published pages rather than from one central portal. That removes a step between "the agent puts the home online" and "you hear about it".

This home appeared 19 minutes ago.
From the app itself. The counter is on the listing detail page.

Being first only helps if you do not have to type

Fill it in once

Fill in your file once — household, work, income, financing, when you can move — and after that you reply in two taps from the notification. The message is already written.

We record which documents you have ready, never the documents themselves. The message leaves your phone through your own mail app: we never see the contents and never send anything on your behalf.

What we do not do

Your data stays yours

  • No location permission

The app never asks for it and never reads your position. Your search area is a place you type.

  • No third-party analytics SDKs

No third-party trackers. We measure two things about your own account: whether you opened a notification, and, if you fill it in, how you found us.

  • Crash reporting is off

It only turns on if you allow it at first launch, and you can withdraw that again.

  • The map loads nothing until you ask

A map tile at house level reveals which house you are looking at. So we fetch nothing until you tap it.

  • Take it or delete it

Download a complete copy of your data in the app, or delete your account in two steps.

Huisalert is not an estate agent and does not broker anything.

Worth knowing

The data comes from agents' websites and can be incomplete or stale. A home may already be sold before the alert reaches you — always verify with the agent.

Huisalert is Android-only for now.
